The District owns and operates the Cemetery as a special district in and for Santa Barbara County, State of California. It is governed by the District policy in accordance with sections of the California Health and Safety Code pertaining to Public Cemetery Districts.

When the holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as the Holiday. The District Office is closed on observed holidays, and no burial services will take place.
